CEO's Message
Joe Stratton, D.B.A., F.A.C.H.E Welcome to the Kit Carson Health Service District! I am privileged to be part of a healthcare organization that makes a difference everyday. Being able to work with a group of very talented and compassionate people who expend enormous energy to serve patients 24 hours a day-365 days a year is a real blessing. We are very proud to have recently completed a building addition and renovation. These changes include a new hospital wing, emergency rooms, imaging center, and patient reception area. Also, we have updated our older hospital section into specialty clinics and a dedicated surgical suite in an effort to keep more services available locally. Indeed, we are pleased to serve the citizens of Kit Carson County and the surrounding High Plains. We take our mission seriously and strive for excellence in patient care and in everything we do.
