Dr. Akhil Reddy
Cardiologist
Akhil Reddy, MD is a visiting fellowship-trained interventional cardiologist from Aurora Denver Cardiology Associates. He has advanced expertise in minimally invasive heart procedures, including transcatheter aortic valve replacement (TAVR) and mitral valve repair. He is committed to helping patients understand their heart health and feel confident in their treatment decisions.
Dr. Reddy earned his medical degree from St. George’s University and completed his residency in Athens, Georgia. He went on to complete fellowships in cardiology, interventional cardiology, and structural heart care in Colorado, Texas, and North Carolina. He is board-certified in internal medicine, cardiovascular disease, echocardiography, and nuclear medicine, with additional certification in interventional cardiology.
Known for his patient-centered approach, Dr. Reddy takes time to listen, answer questions, and work alongside patients to create personalized care plans. Outside of work, he enjoys skiing, golfing, spending time with his family, and participating in humanitarian efforts to provide heart care in underserved communities.
