John Prevedel, MD, FACC enjoys exploring and discussing all the options available for treating heart conditions with his patients. As an interventional cardiologist, he is able to perform cardiac catheterization, angioplasty, intracoronary stent placement and rotational and directional coronary atherectomy. He is able to diagnose and treat many of the conditions with state-of-the-art technology at the ADCA practice in Metropolitan Denver. Dr. Prevedel has also traveled to South America to provide care to people in underserved areas lacking medical care. Local and worldwide, patients and physicians benefit from his dedication to treating heart patients and teaching skills to professionals.
Dr. Prevedel was raised in Denver and spent almost a decade in the Midwest for undergraduate and medical education. He spent one year working in Georgetown, Georgia as a physician and teacher, and he also volunteered for the Institute for Latin American Concern working in the Dominican Republic. In his spare time, he enjoys exercising, skiing, hiking and camping. Dr. Prevedel has four children, who are now young adults.
