Krista Davis, LCSW

Krista Davis began her social work journey before earning her degrees, gaining early experience through internships in schools and group homes for developmentally disabled individuals. After graduating, she worked in a residential treatment program for high-risk teenage girls, then pursued a master’s degree while interning in a juvenile community court program.

Her career took her from Kansas, where she managed reintegration cases across ten counties, to Colorado, where she expanded her skills in child and adult protection services. Following a pivotal call from a mentor, Krista transitioned into clinical therapy, first working in correctional facilities and later helping establish a behavioral health program through the Kit Carson County Health Service District.

Over the years, she has provided counseling, led therapeutic groups, managed clinics, and developed mental health services from the ground up. Now a therapist deeply rooted in her community, Krista is committed to creating a nonjudgmental space for healing and growth, drawing on her wide-ranging experiences to help others find purpose and resilience.
