Jesse Smith, FNP

Jesse Smith is a Board-certified Family Nurse Practitioner who works as a full-time Primary Care Provider in the Parke Health and Stratton Medical Clinics. 2023 is his fifth year living in Burlington and working for the Kit Carson County Memorial Hospital.

As a family nurse practitioner, Jesse has been trained to treat the whole family, from infancy to the elderly. Nurse Practitioners are advanced practice Nurses who can diagnose and treat diseases and prescribe medications if needed.  Besides taking care of common ailments like coughs, colds, and strep, he can also manage disease processes like Diabetes, Hypertension, Heart failure, Asthma, COPD, and many others.  He works closely with other advanced providers, Physicians, and specialists to help you get the care you need when you need it.

A little about Jesse. He received his FNP degree from Regis University in Denver Colorado. He moved here from Cheyenne wells, where he started working at the hospital there in 2008.  Jesse grew up in Northwest Colorado in the Craig and Steamboat Springs area, where his sisters & their families still live. He enjoys relaxing in his backyard with friends and spending time with his family.
